I have lived in Northwestern Oklahoma my entire life except for time spent at college. I was raised in the community of Vici, Oklahoma. I graduated from Vici High School in 1988. I then went to Oklahoma State University for three years taking pre physical therapy courses. During this time I also worked as a student athletic trainer for football, basketball and track. While at Oklahoma State I married my high school sweetheart Stacey Habekott from the community of Arnett, Oklahoma. We have two children Sierra and Keaton.
I was accepted to the University Of Oklahoma College Of Physical Therapy in 1991. I graduated in 1993 with honors. I performed internships at Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City, Bass Hospital in Enid, and HealthSouth (specialty in sports medicine at Birmingham, Alabama performing rehab on Dr. James Andrews patients); my last internship was at the Jim Thorpe Rehab Hospital in Oklahoma City.
I worked at the Jim Thorpe Rehab Hospital for four months before moving to Woodward in 1993. I became the Director of Physical Therapy at Woodward Regional Hospital and developed a Rehab Dept. which incorporated Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. I have achieved certification as an Athletic Trainer in 1994 and have become a Credentialed McKenzie Therapist for specialized treatment of patients in need of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine rehabilitation.
I am pleased to strike out on my own after 17 years of serving the people in Northwest Oklahoma at the Woodward Regional Hospital. It has always been my dream to manage my own Physical Therapy Clinic in Woodward, and now I have achieved that dream.
